All over Central Florida! The main location for several of our events will be held in Central Florida region. Occasionally, we will plan trips outside of CFL; however, we try to keep them local for those who are unable to make long distance trips.
Main Headcounters = LakeLand and Winter Haven Florida.
You'll notice several field trips outside of Florida or the United States too. Our goal is to eventually visit every single state in the USA!
Yes. This is how we are able to track and keep an accurate headcount for each event and how we contact you to keep you informed.
By registering as a member, you will be added to our mailing list and agree to receive regular updates, announcements, and other relevant information from us. We respect your privacy and want to make sure you understand and agree to a few privacy things.
Personal Information: We collect your name, email address, and any other contact information you provide in our registration form solely for the purpose of communicating our homeschool events and field trips.
Data Use: We will not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your details will be used exclusively for sending you updates about our activities or if you sign up for any events and field trips.
Unsubscribe: You have the right to opt-out of our mailing list at any time. You can do this by clicking on the 'unsubscribe' link in any of our emails. You can also leave our Private Facebook Group at any time as well.

No; however, an annual membership is still required.
We are often asked if students have to be homeschooled in order to attend. While we DO welcome those outside of traditional homeschool, this group was designed specifically with homeschool families in mind.
That being said, a lot of our field trips and events will be held during the week day (less crowded).
The more the merrier!
Becoming a member of our Central Florida Homeschool Community provides families with access to educational experiences, group events, and special opportunities throughout the year. We are a privately run, volunteer-led, not-for-profit community.
Membership fees help cover costs such as a website hosting, software tools, event coordination, and administrative expenses that allow us to operate smoothly and continue offering activities for families.
Memberships are only $0.83 cents per month
OR $10 Per Family Per Year!

This depends on the specific field trip, event, or experience.
Many CFLHSG activities require tickets, deposits, RSVP planning fees, or advance reservations to secure venues, supplies, educational materials, transportation, group discounts, custom items, or third-party arrangements.
Unless otherwise stated on a specific event page:
Tickets are generally non-refundable and non-transferable
Deposits and RSVP planning fees are non-refundable and non-transferable
We kindly ask that families only register or submit payment if they are reasonably certain they are able to attend.
CFLHSG utilizes Zeffy for event registrations and ticketed activities. For your protection, our group only uses official CFLHSG registration links and approved payment methods.
We will never ask families to send funds through unofficial payment requests for event registrations.
If CFLHSG must cancel an event, we will do our best to reschedule or issue refunds when applicable; however, processing fees, third-party fees, unrecoverable vendor costs, custom supplies, or administrative expenses may be deducted when necessary.

Important Note Regarding Chargebacks:
Chargebacks or payment disputes filed without prior communication may impact future participation eligibility. Because CFLHSG often prepays vendors, supplies, reservations, tickets, and event costs in advance, unauthorized disputes can create financial hardship for the organization. We kindly ask families to contact us first so we can try to resolve concerns together.
Yes; if you're no longer interested in being a part of our group, you may unsubscribe from our emails and texts at anytime or remove yourself from our social media groups. If you need help, just let us know - Click Here.
If a group member files a chargeback for an event or service without contacting us first, their access to future events may be suspended. See previous question for complete details regarding this.
Additionally, if any parent or child engages in harassment, bullying, or disruptive behavior toward another group member, we may remove that individual and/or family from the group and all future events in order to maintain a safe and positive environment for families.
We are so glad you found us! To help spread the word about our events and field trips, we partner with third-party platforms like BetterSchool. They help us reach more people and meet minimum requirements for bigger discounts.
Please note that ticket prices may be a little higher when purchased through these platforms due to their 10% platform fee and some additional service charges that are out of our control.
Now that you know about us, we highly recommend purchasing tickets directly through us to save yourself a few dollars!
Participation Agreement, Waiver & Media Policy
Participation in Central Florida Homeschool Group (CFLHSG) activities requires acknowledgment and agreement to our Participation Agreement, Policies & Liability Waiver.
This agreement applies to participation in CFLHSG activities including, but not limited to:
Field trips
Educational programs
Ticketed events
Free RSVPs
Travel experiences
Overnight stays and camps
Cruises and group activities
Fundraisers and raffles
Workshops and special events
Private communication groups and community participation
Our agreement outlines important information regarding:
Participation expectations
Liability waivers and assumption of risk
Parent/guardian responsibilities
Refund and payment policies
Travel and third-party disclosures
Photo/video acknowledgment
Communication expectations
Safety and participation standards
Because CFLHSG activities often take place in public or group settings, participants understand that photos and videos may occasionally include participants or minors in the background of images, recordings, or shared event memories. While we strive to be respectful, participation in group environments means visibility cannot always be fully controlled.
Participation in CFLHSG activities requires acknowledgment of these policies. Families who do not wish to agree to participation requirements, waivers, or community expectations may choose not to participate in group activities.

Central Florida Homeschool Group is ran by like-minded parents and guardians. We are not a business, nor a tax-exempt nonprofit organization. We are a privately organized, parent-led, not-for-profit, homeschool community created to provide safe, affordable, and meaningful experiences for families.
