All over Central Florida! The main location for several of our events will be held in Central Florida region. Occasionally, we will plan trips outside of CFL; however, we try to keep them local for those who are unable to make long distance trips.

Yes. This is how we are able to track and keep an accurate headcount for each event and how we contact you to keep you informed.
By registering as a member, you will be added to our mailing list and agree to receive regular updates, announcements, and other relevant information from us. We respect your privacy and want to make sure you understand and agree to a few privacy things.
Personal Information: We collect your name, email address, and any other contact information you provide in our registration form solely for the purpose of communicating our homeschool events and field trips.
Data Use: We will not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your details will be used exclusively for sending you updates about our activities or if you sign up for any events and field trips.
Unsubscribe: You have the right to opt-out of our mailing list at any time. You can do this by clicking on the 'unsubscribe' link in any of our emails. You can also leave our Private Facebook Group at any time as well.

No; however, an annual membership is still required.
We are often asked if students have to be homeschooled in order to attend. While we DO welcome those outside of traditional homeschool, this group was designed specifically with homeschool families in mind.
That being said, a lot of our field trips and events will be held during the week day (less crowded).
The more the merrier!
Becoming a member of our Central Florida Homeschool Community enriches the educational experience for families and students alike. As a nonprofit organization, all funds collected are dedicated to website development, maintenance, annual fees for our private domain, administrative and processing, plus covering costs for third-party services that enhance our communication and keep everyone engaged.
Memberships are only $0.83 cents per month

This depends on the event or field trip itself. Majority of our trips do require an activity ticket. All ticketed events are non-refundable so we do ask that you only submit a payment if you are certain you're able to attend as no exceptions are made. (Once you purchase the ticket, our system automatically orders supplies on our end.) Tickets may be transferred on a case by case basis.
We now partner with Zeffy for all ticketed events giving you the ability to purchase tickets using all major credit cards, debit, or even Apple Pay. Our group ONLY uses Zeffy.
We will NEVER ask you to send funds using any other form of payment. Please report any suspicious activity to us immediately.
NOTE: If we have to cancel a field trip or event, we do our best to reschedule or offer a refund (minus processing fees). Our group is not responsible for any platform or service fees associated with any event and/or field trip.
IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE:
If a charge back is ever filed against us, you will be banned from the group permanently as this would be considered theft. Not only that, you would be forcing our group members, group leader, and/or host of the event to pay for your tickets out of their own pocket which isn't fair to them. We have the right to refuse services to anyone, at any time, with or without notice. We also reserve the right to take any necessary legal action if needed or in the event of theft such as this as well.
Our group works hard at what we do and we will not tolerate being used, abused, scammed, mistreated, or taken advantage of. Thank you.
Yes; if you're no longer interested in being a part of our group, you can unsubscribe from our emails and texts at anytime or remove yourself from our social media group(s). If you need help, just let us know - Click Here.
If a group member ever submits a wrongful chargeback (theft), that member will be removed and banned from our group. Additionally, if a parent or child is caught abusing another group member in any way, shape, or form, they may be banned and asked not to return as well.
Thankfully, we've never had any issues with foul language or bad behaviors though!
We are so glad you found us! To help spread the word about our events and field trips, we partner with third-party platforms like BetterSchool. They help us reach more people and meet minimum requirements for bigger discounts.
Please note that ticket prices may be a little higher when purchased through these platforms due to their 10% platform fee and some additional service charges that are out of our control.
Now that you know about us, we highly recommend purchasing tickets directly through us to save yourself a few dollars!
A release, waiver, and photo form is required to participate in ALL of our field trips and events. Since we cannot make any guarantees that you and your party won't be photographed or in the background of any photos taken by group members and uploaded, everyone who comes with you must sign the forms, even if they don't plan to participate in the event. We cannot take on any liabilities or risks associated with your participation.
Please know that we do not mean to sound harsh or un-empathetic; however, if you are not comfortable using your legal name or signing the required forms, this may not be the group for you as we do not make any exceptions for security and safety purposes. We will also not put ourselves or group members at any legal risk, especially being we are volunteering our valuable time and hard earned OOP money to organize these trips and events for others.

Excellent question! CFLHSG is a community of parents and guardians who have come together to find a sustainable solution for the challenges we are facing in these uncertain times. We recognize the significance of offering a secure and dependable learning environment for our homeschool families, and that is why we have established this exceptional community. Our primary objective is to provide the highest quality educational and social experiences while ensuring the safety and happiness of everyone involved. Each field trip or event is hosted by a group member and leader so it often varies.
Central Florida Homeschool Group is ran by like minded parents and guardians. We are NOT a business although we are now recognized as a an official nonprofit organization! We are just a bunch of parents who came together to create a safe and organized community to enjoy.
